Join us for an engaging, interactive training designed for mental health providers who want to deepen their understanding and clinical work with trans and gender expansive individuals.
This two-hour, virtual workshop will be held via Zoom. Please note: This event will not be recorded.
The session will begin with a structured educational component, followed by space for discussion and Q&A. The focus is on advancing your ability to provide effective, affirming care for this community. Participants are encouraged to have prior foundational training in gender-affirming care, as this workshop builds on that knowledge.
Facilitator:
The workshop will be led by Taylar Main (they/them), who brings experience working with gender expansive clients. Taylar will integrate practical interventions and therapeutic modalities drawn from their clinical practice.
In this workshop, we will explore:
- Understanding and applying developmental identity arcs within gender exploration
- How to use a client’s identity arc to inform and deepen your clinical interventions and therapeutic approaches
- Strategies to support treatment goals through an affirming, identity-informed lens
